So the last time I talked about the 3G Iphone I was pissed.Now its a different story. After getting the bad news from calling AT&T today, and having them tell me I would have to pay $399 for 8G or $499 for 16GB, I called Apple support. See I'm the kind of person who, after receiving bad news I try again cause I don't believe its true.
So a girl from Apple care picked up and I told her about how I wanted the 3G Iphone but was mid-contract and did not want to pay outrages prices.
So she said that she was not sure but she could transfer me to an AT&T Rep.
So I said ya I would love that, and she did.
After waiting about 10 minutes I was about to hang up when the same girl answered the phone, she said she had to get up and get someone cause they were all busy. I said that was nice of her.
So she traded phone to this AT&T Rep.
To make a long story shorter she told me three things:
1. That I had to be eligible for an upgrade, or I could not even get the Iphone. She said I was eligible.
2. Because I was eligible I only had to pay $199 or $299 and that because I am on a family plan only my part of the plan would be extended.
3. The $30 a month Data plan includes 200 text messages.
So she said all I would have to do is go to the AT&T sore and tell them I wanted to upgrade and that would be it.
So ya sweet, cheaper Iphone here I come.
